Loop top flint black cup

This little cup is made from porcelain with oxides mixed into the clay to give it a dark flinty-black finish with a white milky/speckled interior. The piece was thrown on the wheel and glazed with a white speckled glaze on the inside, leaving the outside with a smooth but very slightly textured feel to the surface. The rim has a small loop added to the rim.
