Willow bar flint black vessel

This little vessel is made from porcelain with oxides mixed into the clay to give it a dark flinty-black finish with a white milky/speckled interior. The piece was thrown on the wheel and left unglazed, leaving the outside with a smooth but very slightly textured feel to the surface. The piece has a thin willow twig through holes in the side.
