Porcelain tea bowl, thrown on the wheel and turned to give it a softly curved foot. The piece is glazed on the inside with a shiny speckled ‘catkin’ colour glaze – somewhere between beige, yellow and green; this colour is hard to describe. The piece has been left unglazed on the outside leaving the satin finish of the porcelain.
